Family Support Groups
The Arizona SIDS Alliance holds a support group meeting for parents who have experienced the death of an infant due to SIDS or any sudden infant death. Family members and friends are also welcome to come and meet people who care and understand. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Edwards Medical Plaza located behind Good Samaritan Hospital. The building is on the southwest corner of 12th Street and Willetta (south of McDowell). Park on the fourth floor of the parking garage and go to Suite 404.
Other organizations also provide support groups for parents and families who have experienced the sudden loss of a child. These groups meet on different days throughout Arizona. ASA will list these groups as each becomes known to us. Information on additional support groups can be found in the Resource Guide.
Dear Parents and Grandparents,
AGAST, international is looking for squares for their grandparent quilt. This quilt travels around the states to different conferences. Sandra is willing to do the squares if you just call and give her the baby's name and some information.
